MSF’s Work Around the World
In 2009, MSF brought independent medical relief to victims of war, disaster, epidemics and other crises in more than 65 countries around the world. In 2009 MSF teams treated, among other things:
- 7.5 million consultations;
- 49,600 surgical interventions;
- 154,000 severely malnourished children received treatment
