Ezbet El Haggana project

MSF recently opened a maternal and child health clinic in Ezbet El Haggana, an urban slum located in the East of Greater Cairo. The services offered include ante-natal and post-natal care as well as paediatric consultations for children under the age of five. In addition to Egyptians, this slum which houses approximately 200,000 people also hosts refugees from Somalia and Sudan, for whom access to free, good quality healthcare is often difficult.
